It gives me great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the halls of Alnoor University for the opening of the Second Annual Scientific Sports Conference jointly held by Alnoor University and Alhamdaniya University, held from April 8 to 10, under the slogan
Sports Sciences and Physical Education and Their Role in Quality of Life and Sports Sustainability
The convening of this conference embodies the depth of academic collaboration between our two universities and affirms our shared belief in the vital role that sports sciences and physical education play in shaping a well-rounded individual physically, psychologically, and socially and in enhancing the quality of life within society. Today, sports are no longer merely a recreational activity; they have become a fundamental pillar of sustainable development and an effective tool for instilling the values of health, belonging, and teamwork.
At Alnoor University, we believe that scientific research and the exchange of expertise among researchers and academics form the cornerstone for developing sports and educational practices and keeping pace with global scientific advancements. This conference, therefore, serves as a scientific platform for constructive dialogue, presenting the latest studies, and exchanging insights that contribute to enhancing the quality of sports education and training, as well as serving the community.
In conclusion, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to all those responsible for organizing this conference, as well as to the researchers and participants who enriched its activities with their outstanding scholarly presence. It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the Preparatory Committee, to welcome all participants to the Annual Joint Scientific Sports Conference between Alnoor University and Alhamdaniya University, under the theme \u201cSports Sciences and Their Role in Quality of Life and Sports Sustainability,\u201d which will be held at Alnoor University Nineveh Governorate, from April 8 to 10, 2026.
The aim of this conference is to exchange scientific and research expertise in the field of sports sciences, enhance its role in improving quality of life, and support sports sustainability. It brings together researchers, academics, and sports practitioners from various Arab and international countries.
